Summer 2025 we will be hosting four week-long cooking camps for kids ages 7-12 years old at our outdoor kitchen and garden. Sign up using the link below.
Camps will run from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday. Kids will arrive each day and learn basic gardening skills including planting, harvesting, and cleaning of produce. They will then cook a nutritious lunch every day, while also preparing a dish for the final feast that happens on Friday afternoon. Parents are invited to join for the Friday Feast, and kids will have an opportunity to show their parents what they learned in the garden, and share the dishes they prepared throughout the week.
Students will leave camp with a basic knowledge of food preparation and healthy eating habits. Older kids will have opportunities for leadership roles based on competency. We will cook a wide array of cuisines and utilize a range of cooking techniques to help foster a lifelong connection to the power of food in our daily lives!
