
Teach your kids to cook dinner for you! Join Ian McGregor & Orion Bellorado of Farmstead Wyoming for online cooking over Zoom for kids ages 6-13 from the comfort of your own kitchen. We teach fundamental culinary skills including baking, sautéing, and knife techniques. We will cook a variety of kid friendly meals from around the world in each session with an emphasis on expanding food horizons for families. Parents can expect a dinner course for four people at the end of each class. Class is from 3:30 to 5:00 pm or 5:30-7:00 pm every Wednesday for five weeks. Recipes for those five weeks will be sent the week before the first class starts.
Refund Policy: Full refund is offered until one week before the first class. Available to kids aged 6-13 and depends on parents level of involvement and comfort with potential dangers of cooking (cuts, burns, etc). Many parents participate in each class and often report learning skills alongside their kids.
Students will leave camp with a basic knowledge of food preparation and healthy eating habits. We will cook a wide array of cuisines and utilize a range of cooking techniques to help foster a lifelong connection to the power of food in our daily lives!
Specific food allergy substitutions will need to be made by individual families, and substitution suggestions will come with each recipe for common food allergies such as gluten, diary, and nuts.

Ian McGregor
Ian started his food journey as an organic farmer 15 years ago, growing clean and healthy food for communities around the world. While in Chilean Patagonia, Ian developed a curriculum for kids to learn the basics of planting and raising their own gardens, and since then has taught culinary and farming classes to hundreds of students in various different countries. His goal is to empower kids to learn to feed themselves and others, and share in the joys of nourishing themselves and those around them.
Orion Bellorado
Orion has blended the worlds of food, flavor, and education for over 20 years. He owns and operates several food business, and taught at Jackson Hole High School for 9 years. He now combines his experience as an educator with his love for unique flavors to inspire a love for food and cooking in young people that they can carry with them for a lifetime. Orion delights students with stories from his career as a food entrepreneur, full of humor and passion for what feeds and sustains people and the planet.
